Very nice rooms, although my sheets were not 100% clean. Very friendly staff that gave us detailed instructions.
The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from subway. We thought it was closer.
Excellent reception staff, always obliging and happy to help.
Breakfast was ordinary.
The staff was friendly, competent and English-speaking. Guests are offered the option to dine in the hotel with the owner and his family. The cost is 25 Euros/person including all the wine you can drink. A good value. We did this one of the two nights and it was very pleasant, visiting with the owner and other guests until after 10pm. The food was ok but not stellar.
The only drawback to the room was the size of the shower stall. I weigh 115 lbs and had no room to spare!
Fantastic, helpful staff. Great location - 5 minute walk to coliseum and forum
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help in any way they could. They all spoke excellent English. We have never been to a hotel with such quality staff. We had a room with a view of the Colloseum and a very nice garden terrace where we spent afternoons drinking cappuccinos or a glass of wine. Free WiFi was a definite plus.
The bathroom was extremely small. There was absolutely no room to put anything. There was not even a towel hook. The back of the door could not be used, as it was a pocket door. This was quite frustrating, having to go in and out for everything. However, all things considered, we would definitely return to this hotel!
Nice hotel friendly staff
People standing in hallway outside our door talking late at night and hearing their doors slam.
I enjoyed my stay. I had no problems. It was nice to park the car in the small courtyard and the room was fine.
The Hotel was fine and I had no complaints.
Excellent location, view
Too much street noise: poor noise insulation
The hotel is very well structured, the staff very polite and attentive. There is a great care with the guests, I strongly recommend staying in this hotel
Only air conditioning is too cold and has no adjustment
The bed - the mattress was not the correct size for the box spring = very uncomfortable. Too squishy too. A little overpriced. Everything else was good.
Location, helpful and friendly staff, price.
Breakfast can be crowded and not restocked often enough. American instant-tasting coffee, some minor bathroom problems (tub drained slowly, shower fixture wobbly).
The helpfulness of the staff and proximity to main attractions of Rome.
Loved the relaxed attitude and the friendliness of the staff. The location was great and the hotel interior very stylish.
This is a lovely hotel - the location is fabulous, not only bang next to the Colosseum but also in a nice neighbourhood with some very reasonable local family restaurants. The accommodations were not luxurious but perfectly fine for the price. The staff were incredibly helpful, even returning some clothes to us which we had left behind. We would definitely go back.
everything from the service to the room and breakfast was excellent.
