We had an amazing time at this lovely hotel, just a 2-minute walk from the Colosseum! The kids loved the delicious breakfast spread, especially the fresh fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay extra special as we enjoyed New Year fireworks on the terrace overlooking the city.
My kids wished there was a small kids' play area to keep them entertained.

Oh, the breakfast at Lancelot is a treat with an array of pastries and fresh local fruit! Plus, the bar serves a delightful chardonnay that is hard to find elsewhere. The location is unbeatable, just a stroll from the Colosseum and surrounded by authentic eateries like Naumachia—what a find!
On the flip side, they charge 4 euros for a cup of tea, and the walls could use some soundproofing.

Both lovable and frustrating
Location is fantastic, just a few steps from the Colosseum! The breakfast features ample choices that satisfy your appetite. Staff members are exceptionally helpful and courteous, creating a welcoming atmosphere!
Unfortunately, the rooms can be quite cramped, leading to uncomfortable movements. Some noise from adjacent rooms disrupts the peace during the night, making sleep a bit challenging.

A cozy retreat in Rome
Our mornings began with delicious croissants, and evenings were filled with laughter at dinner. The staff treated us like family, making every moment special.
However, the Wi-Fi was spotty during our stay, which made it challenging for a bit of work I needed to catch up on.

The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief in the heat. Loved having a little terrace to sit out on, even if it faced the street. Only downside was that the walls could be a bit thin. you might hear some hallway noise during the night.

We had an amazing stay with friends! Just a few blocks from the Colosseum, we celebrated the New Year with Prosecco on the terrace overlooking the stunning skyline. The breakfast was delicious every morning, with plenty of options. The staff were friendly and were always ready to help. I loved the authentic decor and the cozy vibe.
The only thing I missed was a minibar in the room.
